The main characteristics of an petrol pressure washer

The petrol pressure washer is characterized by technical specifications, which obviously vary according to the model taken into consideration. First, we need to consider the water mains pressure, which can vary from ten to two hundred bars. The higher the water pressure, the better the cleaning (also depending on the area to be treated). Secondly, it is necessary to evaluate the flow rate, that is the maximum amount of water that can be expelled from the nozzle of the lance. On the market, in addition to petrol pressure washers, with expulsion of cold water, there are also models capable of supplying hot water, with electric operation, to connect directly to the electricity network. These are mostly used for professional uses and commercial areas.

Operation of the pressure washer

The petrol pressure washer has a very simple and intuitive operating method. First we define what is meant by an internal combustion engine. This type of engine, also called internal combustion, is based on the chemical reaction that occurs between fuel (gasoline) and oxidizing agent (oxygen). The pressure generated during this reaction causes an increase in volume, which pushes the piston downwards, thus operating the crankshaft. In order to use the instrument, therefore, just connect the petrol pressure washer to the source of the water (a tank or even the tap itself) and choose the nozzle suitable for your needs and the type of cleaning that must be carried out. In fact, the pressure washer is a self-priming pump, that is it is able to suck the liquid.
